'Dui Lian' .. the traditional New Year couplets the Chinese put on each side of their doors.
The ones on red paper are this years, last years couplets can still be seen on white beneath.

Preparing for the Dragon dance.
Every household sends a representative to the dance, who will be in charge of one part of the Dragon,
and they'll write words of celebration and prayers on behalf of their families on that part.
The dance is about to start, the villagers make the dragon offer respect to Buddha and set of firecrackers.
